Enkoveni Camp On The Olifants River This magnificently appointed lodge is set on the banks of what is arguably the mightiest of all Kruger Park Rivers, the magnificent, perennial Olifants. Frequent visitors are Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants, a variety of other wild animals and many bird species. Enkoveni Camp has unparalleled access to a riverine environment.
When to view: From a game viewing perspective, animals are around throughout the year with peak viewing over the winter months from around May to October. There are the usual suspects during the day. You can catch the sunrise or sunset “rush” before waiting for the night time sightings, when some of the rare animals make an appearance.
