Discovery of Botswana
Botswana is an exceptional and unique wild land for wildlife observation, too often reserved for elite tourism!
I suggest you make accessible the must of the animal safari... Aboard our specially equipped 4x4, this route will give you access to the large animal concentrations of the National Parks of Chobe and Moremi, but also to the spectacular landscapes of Makgadikgadi, the Boteti river and Victoria Falls with a small incursion into Zimbabwe.

An extraordinary program
Total immersion in the wild nature thanks to a circuit in complete freedom alternating, nights in bivouacs (sleeping under the stars, hearing the fire crackle in the heart of the African night, waking up alone in the world in front of a breathtaking nature ...) and bungalows to rediscover the pleasure of a cozy bed.
Aboard our specially equipped 4x4, this route will give you access to the large animal concentrations of the National Parks of Chobe and Moremi, but also to the spectacular landscapes of Makgadikgadi, Boteti River and Victoria Falls with a small incursion into Zimbabwe.
Nothing like the autonomy of a fully equipped 4x4 when you want to explore the wild territories of Botswana. What a feeling of freedom!
A tent on the roof of the 4x4 unfolds in a few seconds and provides a welcome feeling of security (insects, reptiles and any large beasties are kept away) and better comfort, being further from the ground. Authenticity and direct contact with nature as well!
For those who are afraid to sleep in the tent, here a small video to see its editing.
These are tents for two people (mattress 140 x 210), no need to tidy up every morning, we leave in place sheet, pillows and sleeping bags.
Day 1 and 2 Maun
Tourist capital of Botswana.
Located about a hundred kilometers south of the country's main parks, Maun enjoys a prime location for going on safari.
We stay there one more day, in order to carry out our supply in water, food and fuel. Overnight at your ideally located lodge on the banks of the Thamalakane River
Day 3 and 4 Boteti River
Camping by the river, after years of extreme drought, the river is finally back in all its glory, transforming the landscape into a real paradise
day 5 Nata
Direction Nata, with the discovery of the Bird Sanctuary where you can see a multitude of birds, 165 species listed. This huge lake, which is dry for part of the year, is home to a colony of pink flamingos.
Day 6 and 7 Kazane
Accommodation in a Lodge, then transfer to Zimbabwe for a day dedicated to the majestic Victoria Falls. The place where the Zambezi rises into the void. Nearly 100 m drop over more than a kilometer and a half wide!
day 8 and 9 Chobe River
Chobe National Park. Gathers over 11,700 km² all the landscapes of Botswana composed of shrubby savannah, forests along rivers and large marshes covered with reeds sheltering hippopotamuses, buffaloes, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards as well as a large concentration of elephants that made the park famous!
Considered the most populated place of elephants on the planet, it is not uncommon to observe herds of 300 to 400 pachyderms!
Day 10 and 11 Savuti
An emblematic destination of Botswana, both for the beauty of its landscapes and for the wildlife it shelters. Absent for many years, the water has returned to supply the canal via the Linyanti River, allowing Savuti to find its marshes and thus attract a fauna as rich as it is varied. Between grassy plains, sandy desert, marshes, semi-permanent river and standing dead trees, Savuti is one of the essential stages of a safari in Botswana.
day 12 and 13 Khway - Okavango Delta
This reserve is managed by the inhabitants of the eponymous village who share their territory with a rich wildlife. On this territory of floodplains, the dense forests are populated by immense acacias and large leadwoods. This unique experience allows both to observe the animals and to discover the local life of a bush village.
Day 14 Maun
Possibility of flying over the Delta in a small plane or helicopter (not included in the package)
